TERMS & CONDITIONS

The terms and conditions below apply to all coaching and counseling services provided by Jessica Gracie to any individual (“the client”) and constitute the contract for the service to be provided by Jessica Gracie for the client. The term ‘coaching’ as here used covers life coaching, personal coaching, personal development, trauma recovery, and wellness counseling for clients and where applicable includes mentoring or supervision services provided for clients, coaches or others.

In the spirit of good practice, when you are purchasing coaching services from me I ask you to confirm that you have read and agreed to each statement below and that you wish to proceed:

All coaching services and communication, email or otherwise, delivered by myself, Jessica Gracie, as well as information on this website (DevelopYourAuthority) are meant to help you work through trauma and to overcome personal challenges in order to move forward into happiness, well-being and abundance. Coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care.

The term ‘coaching’ as here used covers life coaching and personal coaching, but it also extends to wellness counseling and trauma recovery and trauma resilience for clients.

In committing to life coaching with me, you acknowledge the following:

You understand that the coaching services you will be receiving from your Coach are not offered as a substitute for professional or traditional mental health care or medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental health or medical conditions. You also understand that your Coach is not acting as a mental health therapist or a medical professional.

For legal purposes, you understand that coaching is currently an unregulated industry and that your Coach is not “licensed “ by any governing body even though the sessions may take place remotely anywhere in the world.

You understand and agree that you are fully responsible for your well-being during your coaching sessions and subsequently, including your choices and decisions.

Because we offer a free consultation or trial session to ensure a good fit before committing to a full coaching package, we do not offer refunds for coaching services once started.

Students who register for a training course occasionally change their mind for one reason or another. Regardless of the reason, we believe there should be a definite refund policy for students who decide not to take the course. Refunds for online courses are only given under the following circumstances:

• The student/user did not access any portion of the online course AND the student/user requests a refund, in writing via email within three business days from the date of the registration (email notification sent). There will be no refunds for any online courses (or curricula) once a course has been accessed in any manner.

• A full refund will be issued less an administrative fee of $100.

• All shipped course materials (books, study guides, CDs, Self-Study Kits, Videos, etc.) are returned, unopened/unused at your own expense if you accept delivery of the package. There are no refunds for Kindle books or e-books.

• Additional restocking and shipping costs may apply to returned books.

Please understand that with the enrollment and accessing of your online course, you have read and agree to the aforementioned refund policy. Any live course extensions are granted for your course up to one time and up to one calendar year. If you do not complete your course by the end-date of extension date, continued access will be forfeited.
